About an hour ago Wordpress released news that part of their internal structure has been penetrated by a hacker whom embedded a possibility for Remote execution in some of the download files for version 2.1.1 The official advice is to upgrade as fast as possible to version 2.1.2 from here. This is unprecedented case and it is honourful for them to react so fast and i would say rather nasty. Although i have no direct connection in wordpress development, a quite a bit of passwords have been reset so you may want to change your password (if you are affected)
